What "integrated" means
When you connect a system, Astell ingests its content and keeps it up to date so it's searchable and usable in context. The exact data available depends on what you connect and what permissions are granted.
How to think about integration coverage
Astell's integrations fall into four categories (items marked * are coming soon, not yet connectable):
- Communication: Slack, DingTalk, Gmail, Teams*, Outlook*
- Documents and file storage: Notion, Google Drive + Docs/Sheets/Slides, OneDrive + SharePoint + Word/Excel/PowerPoint*
- Calendar and meetings: Google Calendar (including Google Meet context), Outlook Calendar*
- Engineering workflow: GitHub, Linear
What to connect first
To make Astell immediately useful, most teams start with: Slack (day-to-day decisions and context), Gmail (external threads and approvals), Notion and Google Docs (reference material and written decisions), Google Calendar (meeting context), and GitHub or Linear (engineering workstreams). Microsoft equivalents (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive/SharePoint) are coming soon.
Expanding integration support
Astell is continuously expanding its integrations. If a system your team relies on isn't supported yet, customer demand directly influences what gets built next.
